Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is definitely taking a que from all of the interest in co-op gameplay these days. In the game you play as either Kane(in single or multiplayer) an ex-bank robbing hitman or Lynch(only in co-op) a psychotic madman. The game has light single player tactics that allow you to guide merc type allies around the map to defend you or help you kill people.

The important thing here is that Lynch and these mercs need to have at least enough confidence in you that you won't get them killed. If not, they will start to disobey orders and won't revive you if you die.

The game has a very cinematic feel, with the typical next generation feel where load screens and even death screens explain storyline. This game is a crime drama through and through. The shooting and maneuvering in the game seem to be spot on and the level that they are showing at E3 appears to be both big and interesting with plenty of trouble to find or trouble to find you. There will also be multiplayer but they were unwilling to discuss the specifics of the multiplayer at E3. Hopefully we will see more information on that in the coming months.

This game didn't impress me much up to now; but this gritty crime tactical shooter might be just thing for the fan of movies like Collateral or even Bad Boys. I can't wait to get my hands on this title this holiday season when it ships for the XBOX 360, PC, and PS3.
